In this heavyweight bout between two internet providers, Xfinity takes on challenger Verizon.

Xfinity from Comcast is backed by its historically big telecom parent company and provides blazingly fast internet to different areas of the country. Verizon with its DSL and fiber (Verizon Fios) offerings covers a little less of the country, but covers those areas well.
